Triangle Details
Multiple overlapping romantic tensions exist, driven largely by manipulation and jealousy rather than genuine emotional competition. The 2FL actively interferes in the main couple’s relationship, while the 2ML enables her behavior out of unrequited love. Both repeatedly contribute to the main couple’s instability.
My Notes / Opinions
This drama surprised me in that I enjoyed it more than I expected, even though it leans heavily on repetitive breakup and reconciliation cycles. The early romance between the main leads is genuinely nice, and I liked that the female lead actually fights for the relationship during separation arcs instead of shutting down or pretending not to care.
That said, the romance becomes extremely repetitive. Most conflicts stem from the second female lead’s manipulation, with the couple breaking up multiple times over similar misunderstandings. The male lead’s decisions often feel inconsistent, especially breaking up while clearly still in love and then immediately breaking down emotionally.
The second female lead ended up being the main source of nearly all romantic problems, and the second male lead enables her behavior completely, acting out of jealousy and unrequited love. This makes the triangles feel forced rather than organic.
The pacing becomes uneven later on, with random villain elements, a time skip, and a tonal shift in the final episodes that feels disconnected from the rest of the drama. While the ending itself is happy and acceptable, the last stretch is weaker than the earlier parts.
Overall, it’s an enjoyable but flawed romance drama. The chemistry carries it, but overused tropes and repeated emotional loops hold it back.
