Something in the Rain

Yoon Jin A is a single woman in her thirties who works as a supervisor at a coffee company. She is easygoing on the surface, yet she often feels empty and has struggled through many failed relationships. A recent breakup leaves her discouraged, but she tries to hold herself together with the support of her close friend Seo Kyung Seon.

Her routine shifts when Seo Jun Hui, Kyung Seon’s younger brother, returns to Korea after working abroad. Jin A always saw him as a childish boy from her past, but he now appears confident, mature, and unexpectedly charming. Their casual interactions deepen as they spend more time together, and Jin A starts to feel something she has not felt in a long time.

As their connection grows, they must deal with societal expectations and the tension that comes with dating a close friend’s younger sibling. Jin A and Jun Hui navigate family pressure, workplace challenges, and the fear of risking important relationships while deciding whether their feelings are worth pursuing.
