My Notes / Opinions
This one actually pulled me in early. The premise is interesting, episode 1 ends strong, and the FL is a big reason it works. She’s smart, composed, and cool without trying too hard.
Romance is slow burn and pretty restrained for a long time. It starts with the ML being quietly interested rather than openly emotional, which I liked at first, but the middle stretch gets very talk heavy and drags.
Big annoyance throughout were the stalker fans constantly being framed like victims and gossip being treated as fact. That whole dynamic is frustrating and never really stops being irritating.
It does eventually pay off nicely, but you have to be a bit patient to get there.
