Synopsis

Tak Dong Gyeong has carried the weight of hardship since losing her parents and now works as a web novel editor. Just when her life seems steady, she learns she has a terminal brain tumor. Overwhelmed by despair, she lashes out at the world and unknowingly summons Myeol Mang, a being who exists between gods and humans and brings destruction wherever he goes.

Myeol Mang offers to grant her wish, and Dong Gyeong agrees to a one hundred day contract that lets her live exactly as she wants, even if it means risking everything she has left. As they navigate the terms of this pact, their growing feelings complicate the fate that awaits both of them.

My Notes / Opinions

A drama with an interesting premise but uneven emotional pull. The early episodes set up solid chemistry, yet the ML/FL dynamic becomes more predictable and less engaging as the story progresses. A mid series memory loss arc (Annoying trope btw) adds repetition rather than depth, and the plot’s direction feels unfocused at times.

Surprisingly, the side love triangle is more compelling than the main pairing. While nothing in the show is outright frustrating, the overall experience leans mid due to my lack of strong attachment to the leads. The ending concludes nicely though, offering a warm resolution.
