When webtoon artist O Seong Mu disappears while working on the final chapter of his series "W", his daughter Oh Yeon Ju, a cardiothoracic surgeon, goes to his office to search for him. Instead of finding answers, she gets pulled through a monitor and dropped into the world of his comic.

She lands on a rooftop beside a man covered in blood and saves his life. Only then does she realize he is Kang Cheol, the main character of "W", a famous former athlete who has become a wealthy, self made celebrity. Yeon Ju is now stuck between reality and the webtoon, with no clear way to control what is happening.

As she tries to understand why she was brought there, she learns the rules are tied to Kang Cheol’s emotions. Her ability to enter or leave the webtoon depends on what he feels, forcing her to stay close to him to survive. What begins as a desperate attempt to return home turns into a dangerous connection, as Yeon Ju and Kang Cheol get pulled deeper into each other’s worlds and a romance grows across the boundary between fiction and reality.
