Healer

Synopsis

Seo Jeong Hu works as a night courier under the code name Healer. With the support of a skilled hacker, he accepts jobs that require gathering information or carrying out precise tasks as long as they do not involve killing. His newest assignment leads him to Chae Yeong Sin, a determined internet reporter, and Kim Mun Ho, a well known journalist who has been searching for the truth behind an incident from the past.

Mun Ho approaches people connected to the old case while wrestling with his own beliefs. As Jeong Hu gets closer to Yeong Sin by posing as a clumsy rookie reporter, he begins to uncover secrets tied to their shared history. Yeong Sin and Jeong Hu grow through their work, even as hidden dangers close in around them.

Together, they move toward the truth behind a long buried event, confronting powerful forces that want to keep it hidden. Their search brings them face to face with the past, their identities, and the risks that come with exposing what others want forgotten.

My Notes / Opinions

Honestly, I never saw the big deal with Healer. I didn’t hate watching it, it’s fine and entertaining but I wasn’t blown away like everyone else seems to be. People hype this up as one of the best starter k-dramas ever, but it just didn’t hit that level for me. The romance is good, the couple is likable, and the FL is the same actress from What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, but overall it just wasn’t that amazing to me.
